Description
It is our intent to provide a quality alternative broadcast service to the people of Cumberland County, Nova Scotia and Westmorland County in New Brunswick. It would include an eclectic mix of music, specialized programming and news and information that reflects the needs of our rural audience. The radio station will also serve as an outlet for creative and artist expression and diversity of opinion. Local area singers and musicians will have a venue to promote and perform their works and there will be a strong emphasis on all genres of Maritime music. Promotion of arts and cultural events, public service announcements and tourism information will also be an integral part of our daily programming schedule. The station will also be available to assist emergency responders by providing listeners with vital information in the event of severe weather, power outages, natural disasters or other major emergencies. Our talent development program will also include training for potential radio broadcasters and producers.
